FAQ

How much is this going to cost?

There are many different options available for most budgets. To properly quote the event depends on type of performance requested, length of time at venue, equipment needed for the event, travel (for events outside of range) and date (peak or non-peak season).

Please view this page for more information of the services I can provide or fill out the contact form below to request a custom quote for your event.

How far in advance should I book?

While it depends on the season, 4-6 weeks in advance should be sufficient as dates fill up quickly. If you have a date in mind, it’s best to contact me quickly for a quote and to hold the date for you. Occasionally, there is a cancelation which opens a date or I may be in the area for another engagement so even if we are close to your event, still contact me. I may be able to work something out for you or put you in contact another entertainer who is available.

Can Shawn customize something for our company or a birthday?

YES! Please make this known at time of booking so I can prepare something awesome for the company or person of honor.

Do you perform a kids show?

The magic I perform is intended for adult audiences. However, the material is clean (no swears or crude content) and suitable for all ages to attend. This is great for corporate audiences who want to avoid offending anyone.

Why is your show intended for adults?

While the material is not crude, the magic is intended for audiences over 18 years of age. The reason is that the show uses themes (including mind-reading) which is enjoyed the most by people with some life experience. If children attend the show, they will certainly enjoy it but are strongly encouraged to sit with their parents. When kids see their parents enjoying the show, they will enjoy it even more.

What is your show like?

The show is filled with mystery, mind reading and mental gymnastics leading to a huge surprise at the end. There are multiple moments where volunteers are able to participate, things are borrowed (and returned safe!) and one person will even have the whole audience read their mind.
